This Week’s New Releases 6/2 – 6/8; The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, Journey, Persona Q2 and More

Unless you’re living under a rock, next week is the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3, meaning it’s going to be a slow couple of weeks. Despite that, there is still a couple things to be excited for. These include the annual pre-E3 release expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II and quite possibly the last major 3DS game.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr looks to be everything Morrowind was and quite possibly more. Featuring dragons, a story that will be told through the year and a fearsome trial to overcome. And, if nothing else, it will give existing players plenty to do.

Joining it is The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, the direct sequel to the popular first game. With the story taking place after the events of the previous title, to the point of it addressing a cliffhanger, it’s a must for newcomers or anyone who wants to get ready for the upcoming sequel.

Finally, Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is both exciting and sad. Given that there are no major releases set to release on 3DS and everything pointing to Switch, it just might be the final major release. Given the popularity of the franchise and overall quality of the previous game, it looks like it will go out with a bang that will delight players.
