Dragon Ball FighterZ Will Be Adding Kid Goku To Its Roster

Bandai Namco has now released images of Kid Goku being added to the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

While no trailer or release date has been released yet, new info about the character being added to Dragon Ball FighterZ has been posted. You can read more from the press release info posted down below.

“DRAGON BALL FighterZ players will soon be able to compete as Goku from the Dragon Ball GT series against the ever-growing roster of characters spanning the Dragon Ball universe.

After an errant wish by Emperor Pilaf, Goku has been transformed into a child during the Dragon Ball GT series. This younger Goku packs a big punch with special attacks like the Super Kamehameha attack, transforming him into Super Saiyan 3. Goku is also able to use his Super Spirit Bomb, Power Pole, and Reverse Kamehameha to flatten the competition.

Goku (GT) is a paid DLC fighter, part of the FighterZ Pass 2 which is currently available for purchase for $24.99. The FighterZ Pass 2 includes six characters including the already released Jiren and Videl, as well as the previously announced upcoming characters; Broly (DBS) and Gogeta (SSGSS). DRAGON BALL FighterZ is available now on the PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, PC via STEAM®, and Nintendo Switch™.”

Dragon Ball GT is somewhat of a spin-off show that aired several years ago after the events of Dragon Ball Z. In this new anime TV show, Goku was wished back to be a young boy by Emperor Pilaf and is wearing a blue outfit instead of his iconic orange gi.

As of right now, it looks like only the Kid Goku from Dragon Ball GT will be added to the Dragon Ball FighterZ video game. It does not look like we’ll be seeing other Dragon Ball GT characters such as Pan or the Super Saiyan 4 versions of Goku and Vegeta.

The Dragon Ball GT TV series has recently been forgotten recently thanks to the introduction of the Dragon Ball Super manga and TV series.
