One of the downsides to major games like Anthem releasing, is very few games want to fight with it for sales. This means we’re looking at a slower week, especially in terms of major releases, but there are at least plenty of things to play.
Headlining this week is Dead or Alive 6, the latest entry in the popular franchise. The rather robust beta has gotten some attention, with the game itself looking to be a huge win for fans and newcomers alike. You can expect our review of it later this week. Joining it is ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove, the unlikely sequel to the rather odd Genesis series. With it looking like a cross between the previous two games and plenty of weirdness, it will be exciting to see if it can live up to the charm of the original or did that die off ages ago?
