The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Trophy Guide

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Trophy Guide

One of the struggles with puzzle games is figuring out all the secrets. A Rose in the Twilight did a fantastic job of making the average less challenging, much less beating it within a set amount of time. The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince isn’t anywhere near as challenging, yet there are still some tricky puzzles. This guide won’t tell you where to find everyone but it will tell you how to get the hardest trophies.

Trophy Guide

A Bouquet for You

Collect All Flowers.

For the most part, flowers are down unused paths or weird side places, though only one is actually difficult to find.

Hollow Tree Hill makes the path to the flower painfully obvious. At the start you have the option to ignore the puzzle and complete the level or you can do the puzzle and get to the flower. While you can’t ignore the collection aspect of the puzzle, as it is required to get all the petals, you can get around figuring out the solution. If you don’t want to solve it, simply enter 5915 and a gate will appear. Go through it with the prince and you can give him a flower. This is actually the midway point, so you should get In Half Bloom for doing it.

A Way of Love

Clear “Tears of the Starry Sky” without killing enemies.

To clear Tears of the Starry Sky without killing a single enemy, you need to lure the flying enemies towards you and once they’re low enough, rush towards them and jump before they strike. If you time it correctly, they’ll miss and you can walk past them. It might take a couple tries but it’s actually a lot easier than it sounds.

Light Chaser

Clear “The Flower’s Lament” in less than 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

This is actually one of the most straightforward rush stages in the game. All you really need to do is, at the end of the level, drag the prince as close to the end of the moving log as you can. If you’re too close he will get pushed back and you’ll likely not have enough time to finish the level. Once you get that section right, it’s actually pretty easy.

The Collector

Collect all Petals

There is actually only one somewhat tricky petal in the game. This is the one at the start of Popping Fire Basket. To make it to the floating island, you need to go to the top, turn the wind current to the left and then make a running jump as the wolf. If you do this correctly, you’ll land on the island and can get the petal.

Every other one can be found by going down side paths or looking around you.

The Peacemaker

Clear “Creamy Cotton Road” without killing enemies.

The timing for this level is kind of weird. You basically want to wait until the frog enemies are moving towards you and then proceed to run under them. If you do it right, they’ll be alerted, turn around and proceed to miss. Repeat it a bunch more and you’ll make it to the end.

Sound Chaser

Clear “The Blue Ocean of Yore” in less than 3 minutes

This is an oddly straightforward level with only two tricks. The first is figuring out the timing of the throws, something that might take some trial and error and knowing there is an enemy at the end of the level. Even if you die to the enemy, as long as you make good time, you can change, kill it and still get the trophy with a failure.

Eat Up, Moles!

Give flowers to the moles.

This is a misleading trophy, since it sounds missable, so just keep in mind that it is story related.

The Full Moon with You

Look at the moon with the prince

Start by loading Fish Bone Tunnel and make it to the puzzle before the end. Transform into the wolf, jump above, kill all the enemies and then go back for the prince. Make sure to light the lantern or wait for it to go out and then redo it, followed by dragging him to the lantern right before the end. Once it’s illuminated, return to the elevator and you should see it going a different direction. Ride it to the top and you should be in a new location and get the trophy.

The Pacifist

Clear “Dappled Sunlight Trial” without killing enemies.

This really comes down to just running past and grouping up moles. If you can do this, then you’ll get it with ease.

Wind Chaser

Clear “Hanging Moss Curtain” in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

This is actually a fairly hard level. My advice is to do it a couple times, learn all the quirks and then do everything as effectively as possible. Any slip up will cost you the trophy, so keep working on it until you do it flawlessly.

Eat Up, Goats!

Give meat to the goats.

This is another story related trophy.
