2017 and 2018 have been great years for a gamer, although they might be beaten by 2019. The first half of 2019 is looking pretty stacked already!
It’s hard to just pick one game since there are so many potential winners in 2019. The first half of the year sees releases like Resident Evil 2, Anthem, The Division 2, Devil May Cry 5, Jump Force and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice just to name a few.
It was hard to pick only one game, but the title we eventually chose was none other than Kingdom Hearts 3. This is a game we’ve been waiting for since 2006 since the franchise skipped the entire Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 era if you don’t count the handheld spin-off games.
13 years and we are finally getting the last Kingdom Hearts game to round out the trilogy. Sure the story might be hard to follow at times, but the main charm of the Kingdom Hearts games have always been the locations and the different characters that you get to meet.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature movies and locations that were never in the other games in the series. Some of the movies included here are Toy Story, Monster Inc, Tangled, Frozen, Big Hero 6 and more. There are also some worlds that are returning that is sure to put a smile on the faces of many fans.
A cool feature about Kingdom Hearts 3 is that the Toy Story and Big Hero 6 storylines are new and original. The video game storylines aren’t just following the plot of the movies like the other worlds in the game. This will make the game feel fresh and exciting even if you have watched Toy Story and Big Hero 6 many times before.
Kingdom Hearts 3 releases in North America and Europe on January 29th, 2019. The game will be available for you to purchase on PS4 and Xbox One. Sadly, the game isn’t coming out on PC or the Nintendo Switch.
