GRID Autosport coming to Switch in 2019

Codemasters is pleased to announce today that GRID Autosport will be getting a Switch version sometime in 2019 via the Nintendo eShop.

GRID Autosport was first seen on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC when it launched back in June 2014. The Switch version that is set to release in 2019 is currently being handled by Feral Interactive, the studio behind the port version of the game to iOS.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Codemasters:

Originally developed and published by Codemasters for consoles and Windows, and later brought to macOS, iPhone, and iPad by Feral Interactive, GRID Autosport will be the first full racing simulator to come to Nintendo Switch!

GRID Autosport challenges players to become pro-racers, mastering motorsport’s most exciting cars on the world’s most thrilling circuits, from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the city streets of Barcelona. With customizable difficulty and a range of driving disciplines, GRID Autosport delivers an irresistible mix of realistic handling and high-speed thrills.

“GRID Autosport‘s AAA production values and deep yet accessible gameplay will make it a fantastic addition to the Nintendo Switch,” said David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive. “Following its success on iOS, we’re thrilled to bring it to Switch players.”

As more games are being ported to the Nintendo Switch, the console has been becoming everyone’s favorite choice due to its portability and able to play console-quality games. With GRID Autosport launching next year, many of the fans who love the racing genre will surely be excited when it launches next year and has something to look forward to. As everyone waits patiently for GRID Autosport, don’t forget that there are other racing games that are available now such as Gear Club Unlimited and Mario Kart.

GRID Autosport will launch for the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019. Those who have a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or PC, the game are readily available at participating retail stores.
