This Week’s New Releases 9/23 – 9/29; Creed: Rise to Glory, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Life is Strange 2

One of the best and worst things about the holiday season is there being multiple exciting things to see and do. This can be hard to keep up with, much less afford, but it still makes for an exciting period. This week is no exception with there being multiple awesome games releasing.

First and foremost we have Valkyria Chronicles 4 releasing on the Switch, Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. Having played it at E3, I was excited to see how well the series performed on the Switch and players can look forward to reading Mark’s review later this week.

Joining it is Creed: Rise to Glory. While VR games have had a mixed reaction, Creed: Rise to Glory makes sense in terms of the system and has a number of delightful mechanics. These include the ability to dodge by moving back, swings being based off how quickly you move and more.

Life is Strange 2 Episode 1 starts a new chapter this week. The interactive story has caught a lot of peoples’ attention and the highly anticipated sequel looks to be really nice. Finally, for those looking for something established, Dragon Ball FighterZ brings the fight on the go.
