Soulcalibur VI network test set for September 28

Soulcalibur VI network test set for September 28

Bandai Namco announced today that there will be a network test for Soulcalibur VI on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from September 8 at 8AM PT to September 30 at 8PM PT.

According to Bandai, the network test will feature 15 playable characters and nine stages. The client to participate in the network test will be available at both PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on September 27.

Here’s a brief overview of Soulcalibur VI via Steam:

■A full assortment of single-player modes!
STORY: Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the very first SOULCALIBUR in Soul Chronicle mode.

■ A wide variety of game modes!
Clash with players around the world in Online mode!
Create your own character to suit your tastes in Creation mode!

■Guest Character
Geralt from CD Projekt Red’s Witcher series joins the fray!

Don’t forget that there is a Deluxe Edition for Soulcalibur VI that includes the season pass, three characters, and two armor packs. For Collector’s out there, there will also be a Collector’s Edition that includes a 120 page artbook, a metal case with built-in soundbox, a soundtrack on disc, a collector’s edition box, and a very awesome 12-inch colletable Sophitia figure.

Soulcalibur VI will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19. Stay tuned for our coverage of the game such as our review and game guides as we head closer to the release date.
