When it comes to an action game like the Devil May Cry series, many prefer that the game will run at 60 frames per second for a smoother and more enjoyable experience. With the upcoming release of the much anticipated Devil May Cry 5, Matt Walker of Capcom revealed that the game will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second when it launches in March 2019.
For PS4 Pro owners hoping that it will be a native 4K, sad to break it to you that the PS4 Pro isn’t normally capable of it. It’s best to expect that Capcom will use the checkboarding to upscale the graphics to 4K. Nevertheless, the 60 frames per second and an upscaled 4K resolution are a good thing. It’s still unsure whether DMC5 will have an option to choose “performance” or “visuals” from the game’s main menu. As for the Xbox One version, it wasn’t specified if it will get the same treatment but we are guessing it will be Native 4K as the console is highly capable.
