Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gets Officially Announced By Ubisoft

After a leak revealed the logo for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft has officially announced the game with a small teaser on the Assassin’s Creed Twitter page.

The small teaser says “see you at E3” meaning the game will be revealed at Ubisoft’s own press conference at the event. We also get to see some game footage from the game which suggest it will be set in Ancient Greece.

Kotaku has posted even more information on the upcoming game from Ubisoft. Apparently Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be a sequel to Assassin’s Creed Origins even though the game is set in Greece. It will be released before March 31st, 2019 meaning it could be an early 2019 release date. Fall 2018 could be an option, although Ubisoft might want to avoid Red Dead Redemption 2 this year.

Much like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Odyssey is expected to allow you to play as either a male or female character. We’ll be sure to know details about the game very soon with E3 just being a few more days from now.
