Microsoft Announces Rise of the Tomb Raider Getting Added To Xbox Game Pass

March is happening very soon and a new month means that there will be new games for you to play in Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service. Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb has revealed that one of the new games that subscribers get to play is the excellent Rise of the Tomb Raider from developer Crystal Dynamics.

Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb posted the following on Twitter: “Next week we’ll post the titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in March. In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here“.

As you can see from the picture, Rise of the Tomb Raider is the first game revealed to be playable in the month of March. This has been done in purpose mainly because the Tomb Raider movie starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft is also out this March. For those interested in the movie, they can play the game simply by subscribing to Xbox Game Pass.

The picture also shows us that seven more potential games are to be playable in the month of March too. Game Pass is great since it’s like a video game version of Netflix. For a small monthly fee, you can get access to plots of full video games to download and play for as long as you want.

Not to mention being a Game Pass subscriber means you can also play all of the Xbox One’s first party exclusives at launch. You potentially don’t need to buy first party Xbox One video games at $59.99 each anymore as Game Pass is way more affordable.
