The Hardy Boyz are finally coming to WWE 2K18 very soon with the DLC bundle called the “Enduring Icons” pack. Aside from the legendary tag team, three other famous and popular wrestlers are available in this new pack as well.
The official WWE 2K Facebook page announced the following message: “The #WWE2K18 Enduring Icons Pack is almost here. Add Jeff Hardy – The Charismatic Enigma, Matthardybrand, Beth Phoenix, and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express to your roster on January 16th! (PS4, XB1, PC)“.
Obviously, the biggest addition to the pack is of Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy who famously came back to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 last year. WWE 2K18 is the first WWE game that both Hardys have been in many years. This is because the pair left the WWE several years ago to join Impact Wrestling/TNA.
Beth Phoenix is another famous female wrestler fans will recognize. She is a former Women’s Champion and was inducted to the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame last year. Fans will see her return in the WWE as she will be one of the commentators for the Mixed Match Challenge tournament.
Lastly we have other 2017 Hall of Fame inductees with the tag team ‘The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express’. This team comprises of Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton. Even though both men are in their ’50s and ’60s, they still wrestle frequently on the independent circuit which is amazing for their age.
Anyway, you can download the DLC pack this Tuesday or you it should be unlocked already if you bought the Season Pass for WWE 2K18. It’s worth mentioning the post just said the DLC pack is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s possible the Nintendo Switch won’t be getting it yet until the base game is fully fixed.
Any idea if the enduring icons pack will be out on the 16th in NZ as well, or will we have to wait ’till the 17th based on the time zone factor?
