For people in North America, Sony is allowing some people to get discounts on the PSN by earning trophies. Microsoft might be thinking of doing the same thing.
A gamer asked Phil Spencer on Twitter if Xbox gamers will have something similar. Spencer replied with the following: “Sounds like a cool feature, I’m going to give it a try. Competition is a good thing, keeps us all working hard.”
There’s no time frame when yet when this feature will arrive, but it’s cool to see Mr Spencer on board with the idea.
You won’t get huge discounts on the PSN and Xbox Marketplace, but you could get games and items for around $10 cheaper. Hopefully more rewards are given out to those that 100% their games.
