PS4 exclusive The Last of Us 2 could be releasing in the year 2019 judging by some recent comments made by the game’s composer. It will be a long wait for the game.
The Last of Us 2’s composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, hinted of the game’s release date during a recent interview with Radio Vorterix from Argentina (via RobinGaming).
He said: “It’ll be done in 2019 (laughs). No, I don’t know exactly when it will come out, but a project like this usually takes at least 2 years to make. I’ve been working on it now for about a year, and after my last concert at the 28th of October, I will be travelling to LA to keep working on the game”.
It’s worth mentioning this should be a rumor since neither Sony or Naughty Dog have hinted of a release date yet. It’s possible a 2019 release date is in the cards since Sony has a lot of exclusives already planned for 2018 including Spider-Man and God of War just to name a few.
