The Nintendo Switch continues to be a powerhouse in North America as the console outsold the PS4 and Xbox One according to NPD sales.
As reported by VentureBeat, Nintendo was able to meet demand in August 2017 which is why it has been on top. The Switch has been the best selling console for several months now.
The PS4 is still the best selling console in 2017 as it beat the Switch in the months of May and June. The Xbox One lags behind thanks to many people waiting until the release of the Xbox One X.
It’s safe to say the Switch is doing far better compared to the Wii U. Sales have been strong all around the world and continues to grow at a steady pace.
