Bluehole Hoping To Bring PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds To PS4 After Xbox One Launch

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is the hottest game on the PC right now and will be released on Xbox One very soon. Bluehole Inc. are now in discussions to bring the game to PS4.

Bluehole Inc.’s Chang Byung-gyu spoke with Bloomberg in a recent interview and revealed the company is talking with Sony to bring the popular game onto the PS4 console after the release of the Xbox One version.

Bluehole may have been pressured to do this to compete with Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode. Fortnite is already available for PS4 and is free to play. PUBG on the other hand costs $29.99 on Steam.

If you have never heard of both PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, they are essentially a Hunger Games style fight to the death. 100 players are put on an island and the winner is the person still left alive.
