E3 2017: Raiders Of The Broken Planet Confirmed For Xbox One X

Independent development studio MercurySteam, best known for the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, has just announced at E3 its asymmetric shooter Raider of the Broken Planet.

Raider of the Broken Planet will launch on Microsoft’s new console, the Xbox One X, but will also be released on PC. On Xbox One X, Raiders of the Broken Planet’s unique art style will be in 4K, and the title comes with full HDR support, something the current Xbox One would not be capable of. Enric Alvarez, Head of Studio at MercurySteam and the Game Director on Raiders, had this to say alongside the announcement:

“We couldn’t be happier to be supporting this powerful, exciting new console from Microsoft. They have been really supportive during the development of the game and we want to make the most of their new technology. Seeing the game on a 4K TV just completely takes your breath away. It’s been really awesome working with this new console, it’s a beast!”
