More Details Revealed About PlayStation VR’s Farpoint Via ESRB Listing

More Details Revealed About PlayStation VR’s Farpoint Via ESRB Listing

The ESRB has now rated Farpoint earlier today which is the new FPS that is exclusive to the PS4’s PlayStation VR headset. It’s a game that fans of Starship Troopers might like.

Farpoint has been rated M for mature players over the age of 17. The game contains “Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Violence”. In other words, it has your standard level of FPS content.

The rating summary description says: “This is a VR first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a crash survivor on an alien planet. Players use assault rifles, shotguns, and plasma rifles to shoot and kill hostile alien creatures and robotic enemies. Battles are accompanied by realistic gunfire and large explosions. Blood-splatter effects occur when enemies are shot; some attacks result in dismemberment and/or decapitation, leaving creatures’ body parts and bloodstains on the ground. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” are heard in the dialogue.”

Farpoint will be out exclusively for the PS4 on May 16th, 2017. Alternatively, you are able to buy the PS VR Aim controller for a more immersive experience. It’s like having a light machine gun in your hands.
