Pokemon Go is about to get a huge update later this year that will finally add a lot more Pokemon in the game. It will also add several new features too.
Niantic announced on the Pokemon Go website that later this week, you will see 80 more Pokemon in the game including the likes of Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile and more. Most of these Pokemon featured in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver.
Not only are new Pokemon being added, but new evolutions are coming to the game too. There will be new evolution items that you can get at Pokestops. They are also including new gameplay when you encounter Pokemon in the wild. They are also adding new items carousels to the screen too.
Lastly, the game will have new Berries and new Avatars and stuff inside the wardrobe. The new berries are called Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries. The Nanab berry makes Pokemon slower and easier to catch while the Pinap berry doubles the amount of candy you receive.
Your avatar can also be changed so you can make them look like the way you want to. Be on the look out for this new update later this week. Check out the trailer below for more!
