The development studio responsible for developing Hitman, IO Interactive, has revealedĀ via a recent job listing that they are in the middle of making a new IP that hasn’t been announced yet.
On the job listing, the studio is currently looking for a Gameplay Programmer. The person will be a part of the studio’sĀ incubation team. This team is working on a ” new unannounced IP and is responsible for prototyping different mechanics for the Hitman team“.
Elsewhere in the description, it reveals that this game will be using Unreal Engine. As always, to be successful in the role you need knowledge of gameplay development and experience with PCs and consoles.
Sadly, no other clues were given to this new game so we have to wait later for more details. Hopefully this new IP is just as fun as the studio’s previous video games.
