The new Tomb Raider movie is under production and the filmmakers have now acquired the actor that will play the main villain in it.
The official Twitter page posted: “More #TombRaider film news! We can’t wait to see #WaltonGoggins as antagonist opposite #AliciaVikander”
Walton Goggins himself posted on Instagram a picture of the script written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet.
Goggins has played roles in many films including the likes of The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Predators and more.
The new Tomb Raider movie is expected to be out sometime in 2018 and it’s a reboot. This means it won’t be related to the two movies that starred Angelina Jolie.
The movie also starts Alicia Vikander as the main role of Lara Croft. She won an Academy Award for her role in The Danish Girl. You may also recognize her in movies such as Jason Bourne, The Man from U.N.C.L.E and more.
