The Wii U also plays host to new Wii release this week as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is now available for digital purchase. Meanwhile, on the Nintendo 3DS, puzzle fans will be able to test their wits in Picross 3D Round 2.

Whether you own a 3DS or a Wii U, a visit to the Nintendo eShop is certainly warranted this week. With the release of Axiom Verge and Skyward Sword on Wii U, and the launch of new StreetPass Mii Plaza Games and Picross 3D Round 2 on 3DS, there is a good helping of quality content this week.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword isn’t the only Zelda related release of the week, either. Those with a copy of Hyrule Warriors on 3DS can now download new DLC. The new DLC contains a new Adventure Map, 15 My Fairy costumes, an Adventure Battle, and two Challenge Battles. Toon Zelda from Wind Waker and Link’s Sand Rod will also be available to use in the game.
