Bethesda is pleased to announce today that the Survival Mode beta of the critically-acclaimed Fallout 4 is now available on Steam.
With the Survival Mode enabled, you can no longer quicksave or manually do it as it now requires to sleep on a bed for an hour at least. Also, fast travel is gone, and now you take more damage whenever an enemy hits you. As for the companions, their weight limit has been decreased and whenever they are down in combat, they will not automatically get revived.

Currently, there’s no word as to when the Survival Mode will hit the consoles but as of right now, it’s available on PC via Steam.
