When fans saw the tech demo of Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation 3, it felt like something that needed to happen and was something of a tease. Despite numerous requests to make it happen, Square Enix has remained against it, but that no longer appears to be the case, as Final Fantasy VII is being remade for the PlayStation 4.
Not a whole lot was revealed about the remake, but Tetsuya Nomura will be directing it, with Yoshinori Kitase producing and Kazushige Nojima doing scenarios. The other only thing revealed is that it is coming to the PlayStation 4, with no word on whether it will release on the Xbox One or PC in the future. While this might be sad news for some, Square Enix released a stunning trailer, which you can find below.
