According to Atlus, Lost Dimension will receive more than $20 worth of DLC free for the first two weeks after launch, including nine character costumes, 12 PlayStation Network avatars, a map set with additional story, and three additional quests.
Nine costumes are planned, including:
- A suit for Toya
- A superheroine outfit for Mana
- A cat outfit for Marco
The PlayStation Network avatars represent the 11 heroes and heroines of the game, as well as the game’s villain, The End.
The three additional quests add an extra mission to each floor. They don’t provide much in the way of EXP or EN (Energy, which is used as money in-game), but if you successfully complete each with an S-Rank rating, you’ll be rewarded with a specialized item or individual character bonuses.
The following quests are planned:
- The Emissary from the Netherworld: Moderately difficult
- The Price of Blood: More difficult
- Runaway Cause and Effect: Most difficult
The add-on map pack, “The Beginning of The End,” is a separate story that takes places in an entirely different location. It features a total of five missions, explores the creation of the game’s central pillar, and goes into the history of its 11 heroes and heroines.
In addition to free DLC, paid downloadable content will also be released. It will consist of helper items-“consumable items that help raise experience, money and other beneficial stats by providing a passive boost before a battle”. It will range from $0.49 to $0.99 in price, as well as status boosters.
