Turtle Beach Details New Line Of PlayStation 4 Headsets Before E3

Turtle Beach (1)

When gamers are looking for premium headsets to buy for just about any platform, it is usually hard to go wrong with Turtle Beach. Previously having a major partnership with the Xbox, the company entered into a partnership with Sony last year and they have unveiled a new line of PlayStation 4 branded gaming headsets scheduled for release this year.

The Ear Force Elite 800 headset is certainly a premium headset with an MSRP of $299.99. Compatible with both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the Ear Force Elite 800 will use “DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound and active noise cancellation to create an incredible, immersive audio experience.” The Ear Force Stealth 400 is a little cheaper option with an MSRP of $99.99 features a sleek design and up to 15 hours of wireless use. Even cheaper is the Ear Force P12, with an MSRP of $59.99, which can be used easily on the PlayStation 4 with the USB port. Unlike the first two that are scheduled for release this fall, the Ear Force P12 will arrive this July.

Turtle Beach also unveiled something a little different with the Ear Force Elite Tournament Audio Controller. This isn’t a gaming controller, but a controller that lets you control the audio through a number of advanced options. This one will actually be compatible with not just PlayStation, but the Xbox 360 and PC. Lastly, Turtle Beach revealed the Turtle Beach Elite Membership Program, which will include benefits such as “discounts, two-year extended product warranty, early access to news and product information, and a range of unique, member-only opportunities at Major League Gaming (MLG) and other gaming events. Look for hands-on coverage from Just Push Start of some of these devices from the E3 showroom floor and you can check out images of all of these in the gallery below.
