Sony has recently listed Capcom’s latest expansion to the long runner Street Fighter series with the digital upgrade for Ultra Street Fighter IV on Playstation 3.
Available for $14.99 currently only for pre-load, Ultra Street Fighter IV is available exclusively as a digital upgrade for those that already own either Super Street Fighter IV or Arcade Edition. If you only have ‘vanilla’ Street Fighter IV, you’ll have to pick up one of these two editions before you can get the upgrade. As an added preorder bonus, the digital upgrade will include a complimentary theme for PS3’s XMB as well as the 2014 Challengers Pack, which includes alternate outfits for Hugo, Poison, Elena, Decapre and Rolento.
While only currently listed for pre-order on Playstation 3, rest assured that Ultra Street Fighter IV will also be available on Xbox 360 on June 3rd. Full physical/digital releases for PS3/Xbox 360 will be available on August 5th in North America. Japan and Europe (as well as PC) will receive Ultra Street Fighter IV on August 7th and 8th, respectively
