Very recently, we got teases and confirmation of the much awaited next entry in the Unreal Tournament series by Epic Games that has been on hiatus for quite awhile. This has led to a lot of speculation about what we may see in this next game, but now some of the original gang has let it be known that they would be interested in joining the project.
Through posts on the official Unreal Tournaments forums, three different composers expressed an interest in returning. Michiel Van Den Bos and Alexander Bradon, composers of the original game, both posted in this thread on the forum, with the former giving a good bit of input on the situation.
Kevin Riepl, composer of Unreal Tournament 2003 and Unreal Tournament 2004, also weighed in with this post, where he also expressed an interest. Could we possibly see a composer super team with all this talent interested in the project? We’ll just have to wait and see.
