Microsoft Japan Says Cloud Computing Increases Power Of Xbox One

Xbox One

With a recent release date revealed for the Xbox One in Japan, Microsoft Japan held an event at the Nico Nico Chokaigi 3 festival to re-introduce the console to the public there in the hopes of being able to market the platform better than the Xbox 360. During this event, Microsoft Japan further emphasized how much more powerful the Xbox One can become thanks to the cloud.

We’ve heard before that it would make it more powerful, but a Microsoft Japan representative gave more specific details at this event. According to Dualshockers, tt was said that the Xbox One with cloud computing can equal the total power of three individual Xbox One consoles combined, or 32 Xbox 360s combined. This is pretty incredible to think about and I know I’m excited to see the possibilities in the future that will come of this.
