Bohemia Interactive today released the free Arma 3 Zeus DLC which allows gamers to assume the role of a Game Master and create unique multiplayer experiences people around the world.
According to Bohemia the Game Master can “view the battlefield from bird’s-eye perspective, and create, manipulate or expand a multiplayer scenario in real-time.” The GM is allowed to spawn units on the fly whilst giving the players new objective. This creates the dynamic feel that the Zeus DLC aims to offer. Coupled with the ability to play god by changing the weather every element of the missions can be controlled for the players benefit or to work against them. The aim is to give the multiplayer section of Arma 3 a new wave of content with emphasis on it being dynamic.
The Arma 3 Zeus DLC is added automatically to the Steam Library of all owners of Arma 3. To celebrate and show off the new Zeus DLC the development team is hosting an official Launch Party Livestream at 5pm UTC this Saturday, April 12th.
