As for the game’s UI, the PS4 version are customizable just like on the PC. Gamers who do not like what they see on the screen can immediately change it around to their own liking. If the text is too big, gamers can resize the text based on their own preference. If you are playing with the keyboard and mouse, you can have your own hotbars and you can pretty much arrange the UI the same way you would arrange it on PC.
Allowing the PS Vita to remotely play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is one of the coolest features the PS4 version has. Gamers who simply want to do simple tasks in the game such as gathering, or crafting should try out the remote-play feature of the game. I don’t really recommend using remote-play in tasks like taking down Primals as it will be hard due to limited controls that you can do. From my very brief moment with the remote-play feature of the game, I must say that I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward into using it a lot whenever I’m crafting.
One of the best things about first-time gamers who will pick up the game on PS4 is that they will be greeted with a lot of content right out of the box. Compared to the content the game had during launch, the content that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn now has is massive. Featuring two patches that includes lots of content that players can enjoy, those who will pick up the game the first time will not have to worry about getting bored easily. One of the highlights of the first two patches that are now available with the PS4 version (PC and PS3 version as well) are the Extreme Mode Primal fights, Four Daily Tribe Quests, Nine Turns of Binding Coil of Bahamut, Crystal Tower, the ability to fight Leviathan and King Moogle, and many more.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is one of the prized jewels for the PS4 right now. With only a few games that are available on the system right now, FFXIV is probably one of the games I highly recommend, especially to those who are looking to play a MMORPG game with near-PC quality graphics and controls. I must say that if you don’t have a gaming PC, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4 will be the closest you will ever experience next to the PC version.
