Kalypso Media first brought footage of Tropico 5 to us last August with a teaser trailer that showed very little. Since then, we’ve gotten tons of screenshots and gameplay videos showing off the game. Now, with a release still a few months away, we have gotten another cinematic teaser trailer that takes quite a lot from the very popular Pirates of the Caribbean series.
We see El Presidente on the mast of a ship before being interrogated by others who say “you are without doubt the worst dictator I have ever heard of” followed by El Presidente saying “But you have heard of me.” Fans of the Pirates series will instantly recognize the latter as a line made famous by Jack Sparrow in the movies.
