Super Smash Bros. Update Gets Kind Of Creepy Today

Super Smash Bros.

After the super-sized update that we got yesterday, there isn’t much surprise that today’s Super Smash Bros. update would be very lackluster. However, it is not only that, but kind of creepy. We do seem to learn one piece of information from the image though.

The update on Miiverse from Masahiro Sakurai focuses on Rosalina in the image, but we also see Tom Nook in the background.

Pic of the day. Fallen Rosalina. Strange how calm and nonchalant she looks even when she takes damage. Is it because she’s from outer space?

Unless this is another situation like Toon Link, it appears that Tom Nook is merely a background character in this game and won’t be playable as some had hoped. Considering we already got the addition of Villager in this game, this isn’t too much of a surprise.

  1. I believe that, unless I’m mistaken, that the one in the back is actually Timmy or Tommy Nook. They are smaller versions of Tom Nook and appear once his store expands enough, helping customers on the upper level.
