Signal Studios has announced that they have acquired the exclusive rights to their award winning original IP, Toy Soldiers.

Orginally, the IP was owned by Microsoft with Signal Studios just developing the Toy Soldiers games for the PC and Xbox 360. With Signal Studios now having full control of the IP, they can now bring the series to more platforms.

Signal Studios promises there will be more explosive Toy Soldiers games to come in the future. If you were disappointed with the recent Rambo game, Toy Soldiers is a better alternative for you.

“It took a while, but we’re extremely grateful to have received the rights to Toy Soldiers back from Microsoft. This was the studio’s first game, and we’re really proud of it. We’re finally able and very eager to start development on the future of the Toy Soldiers franchise,” says President and Creative Director of Signal Studios, DR Albright III.

The series as a whole as sold over 2.5 million units worldwide. This number is sure to increase when more games are set to be made.
