EA Falls In The First Round Of ‘Worst Company In America’ Competition

EA

While the competition most are following right now is the NCAA Basketball tournament as we are right in the midst of March Madness, another competition just started that pits what are considering some of the worst companies in American, for a variety of different reasons. The last two years, game developer Electronic Arts won out over the rest thanks to a number of problems. However, EA has lucked out this year by falling in the first round even with plenty of controversies of their own over the last year.

Going up against the titan Time Warner Cable, EA fell in a narrow vote of 51.2% to 48.8%. This guarantees a new winner this year with companies like Verizon, Walmart, and McDonalds still in the running. After winning last year’s competition, EA’s COO Peter Moore admitted that they had plenty of problems to fix and evidently the voters felt Time Warner Cable was a worse company this time.
