The recently released Plantronics RIG Headset & Mixer is a feature heavy addition to any gamer’s lineup. The first headset developed with mobile in mind allowing various mixes through the mixer including Seismic mode which allows you to feel the bass.
The all-in-one RIG headset provides comfort for marathon sessions with cushions in the headband and ears. It comes with two interchangeable mics, one with noise cancelling boom which blocks background noise and another that has mic and mute control. The headset is also compatible with Playstation 4 right out of the box for those next-gen gamers out there.

My favorite feature is the Seismic mode because I just enjoy deep sounding bass while I’m battling monsters or listening to some cool jazz fusion.
I really like the “feel the bass” seismic mode feature for years ive owned several pairs of sub par priced cheap earbuds and earphones. I always wondered what bass could feel like.
I don’t have one, but the idea of the Mixer is definitely my favorite feature, with the rich audio you’re already getting, you can seamlessly integrate your very own music in to anything you’re playing or doing, love that!
The ability to swap out the boom mic with an inline mic makes it more portable. I could use it for gaming or when I’m out of the house listening to music on my phone or tablet!
I’ve been watching videos on the Rig and that seamless integration between smart devices while gaming would be phenomenal! I’d love being able to have a video chat enabled and piped into a nice headset while I’m playing. This would make my day… year.. decade! ;-)

My favorite feature has to be the fact that it is compatible with everything.. Just having that convenience is one of the greatest things a headset can have.

As a techie who loves both mixing using VirtualDJ as well as gaming on PlayStation, I can appreciate the versatility of the convertible mic and how the RIG Headset can be used for the laptop or with the console, at home and on the go!

Totally noise cancelling. All I have are earbuds and I can always hear the TV blaring downstairs, noise cancelling sounds great.
It’s really hard to choose a “best feature”, they’re all just so great!
I’d have to say the amazing compatability would be the best though, how it works with almost everything right out of the box is great!

The comfortable headband and earpieces are the best cause when I play I usually play for a few hours and want to feel comfortable doing it.

The slick design, and awesome color combo; truly a good looking headset. I will definitely be using this while playing on my PS4, retiring the earpiece PS4 gave me alongside my purchase of the console. Oh and it’s orange, and apparently the future of gaming are the colors Orange and Blue.

I like that it has interchangeable mics! noise canceling would be awesome so that other game dont have to hear my brother and sister yelling in the background, and if that doesnt help, I could put the mutable one on and when i have something to say I can just unmute the mic for a second.. or a few lol

I like the dual interchangeable mics. That seems like a pretty cool feature especially since one is background noise cancelling. No longer will others hear my refrigerator or fan in the background lol. Also thanks for this contest and good luck every one :)

I love the dual sound concept. It is really interesting and as someone who plays games, it will let me properly change vital audio settings on the fly without having to stop anything.
NOISE CANCELLING, the people is my dorm are so loud, so being able to actually hear my gaming would be a godsent gift.

A noise cancelling feature and a detachable mic are neat, but not unique. The “mixer”, however, is fairly unique so I guess I’d have to say that’s my favorite feature, as it’s clearly a big draw for this headset.

I definitely dig the noise canceling boom on the mic. I always had a problem playing games Online without having background noise and feedback always pitching through. Damn good device by the look and sound of things.
My favorite feature is the mixer. Being able to answer phone calls and listening to music while gaming is an awesome idea.

I like that it’s compatible with all my devices. No more separate headphones for my PC and gaming consoles.
To me, the most interesting or appealing feature would probably be the mute control and noise canceling microphone combination. A lot if gaming headsets lack mute control, which comes up more often than you would think it would and seems kind of a glaring omission and necessitates push-to-talk. It seems like this headset wouldn’t have that issue.
It has to be the phone integrated feature. I have never seen something so unique before since interchangeable headphone’s headband stocks.

I love the color of them and how lightweight they are, which makes it very easy for me to move with them, even take them to the beach! :)
Love the idea of listening to music and the game sound effects. Always used to do that with Halo 3 on the 360 but it would be nice to be able to do that on the pc as well.
My favorite aspect of the RIG Headset would simply be its versatility. This headseat seems as though it can handle absolutely everything thrown at it. It can handle video games, apps, music, and phone calls all at once. The microphone also has multiple options to pick from (inline or boom style) as well. All this sounds much more awesome than your standard headset that does nothing but sit there doing one job and otherwise being useless.
