Less than two weeks ago, developer Renegade Kid tweeted a tease that said “We have a pretty big announcement coming up later this month. Something FPS lovers and 3DS owners might be happy about.” This led to a lot of speculation on whether it could be a follow-up to the Dementium franchise or Moon, but it appears that the latter is the correct one as Renegade Kid has now filed a trademark for something called Moon Chronicles.
Moon was the very underrated first-person shooter that released for the Nintendo DS in early 2009. Now with this trademark filed by the game’s developer, plus the tease earlier this month, it would be a good assumption that this means a new Moon game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
The question is whether Moon Chronicles is a brand new game or perhaps an upgraded version on 3DS that adds multiplayer, which the original lacked. More information should be coming soon, so stay tuned.
