USA consumers shopping at Walmart and Target on Black Friday bought more Xbox One consoles than PS4’s.
The Xbox One accounted for around 31% of the market share compared to only 15% for the PS4. The PS4 was the fourth best selling console on Black Friday in those retailers trialing the PS3 and Xbox 360.
It’s being speculated that the Xbox One beat out the PS4 mainly because many of the retailers have run out of stock already. I know retailers over in New Zealand and Australia are sold out of the PS4 even before it launched on November 29th…
It will be very interesting to see which console comes out on top in 2014 when the real battle begins.
