Naughty Dog receives more PlayStation 4 dev kits

Naughty Dog

Just after rumors started surfacing of Uncharted 4 coming to Playstation 4 after Gamestop Germany listed it on their site, the co-president of Naughty Dog, the company that brought us the Uncharted trilogy, made an interested twitter post that has caught a lot of peoples eyes. Christopher Balestra, the aforementioned co-president of Naughty Dog, tweeted this earlier in the day from his twitter page. The picture from the tweet can be seen above.

Look at what arrived today at Naughty Dog… 120 more PS4 devkits! #PS4 #naughtydog pic.twitter.com/oLy7O9Aa5r

Of course this could be for anything, but one would assume that if the studio is working on something for Playstation 4 to require that many more dev kits that it is one of a new entry in the Uncharted franchise or a sequel to The Last of Us. Uncharted 4 would be a more likely scenario considering we just saw the release of The Last of Us earlier this summer. Prior to this tweet, Naughty Dog had not been confirmed to be working on a Playstation 4 game, but it was pretty much expected that they would be and that we would be getting an Uncharted 4 as the series was a headliner for the Playstation 3.

Now we play the waiting game until something official is announced or someone from Naughty Dog decides to tweet out another teaser.
