According to Gamestop, Call of Duty: Ghosts is on track to be the most pre-ordered title of 2013.
Gamestop VP of merchandising Bob Puzon told Joystiq the following:
Call of Duty is an entertainment juggernaut and cultural phenomenon. We are excited for the upcoming release of the new installment of this blockbuster franchise, Call of Duty: Ghosts. We look forward to celebrating the worldwide November launch of this great game that is on track to be the most pre-ordered title of the year.
This is a bold statement considering GTA V has been anticipated for many years now. Call of Duty: Ghosts was just announced back in May. Although GTA V is only out for PS3 and Xbox 360 whereas Ghosts is coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One too.
