PayDay 2 now features full controller support on Steam

PayDay 2

When PayDay 2 launched on Steam this week, many people were wondering whether or not the game will support a controller.

By looking at the PayDay 2 store page right now, there’s no indication whatsoever whether or not the game supports a controller. By downloading the first patch that went live yesterday, controller support will be enabled, allowing you to use several controller peripherals such as the common Xbox 360 controller.

When we first got our Steam copy before the game launched, we were somewhat disappointed that the game didn’t offer full-controller support. However, as soon as we downloaded that big 600MB+ patch, it finally enabled the use of controller, which makes everything easier for those who are used to playing shooter games with a Xbox 360 controller.

PayDay 2 is now available on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. For more information on the game, check out our review.
