Sony Santa Monica has confirmed that no more PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale DLC is coming.
Aaron Kaufman (Just_Tank) announced the following on the game’s official forum:
PlayStation All-Stars Fans,
Thank you for your continued support of PlayStation All-Stars and for keeping the community thriving. At this time we have no plans to release new content for PlayStation All-Stars.
While we considered many characters during development and even created concept art for a number of characters and environments that were being explored during the game’s development phase, including Dart, we were not able to incorporate all of them into the final game. We will continue to be committed to supporting the PlayStation All-Stars online community through online match-making and will ensure server stability.
We appreciate all of your support and passion for PlayStation All-Stars. Our hats off to the team at SuperBot for creating an incredible fighting game, and to you for keeping the online mayhem running strong.

If you are a fan of the game, at least they are still supporting it online and is no shutting down the servers soon. It remains to be seen if we’ll ever see a sequel. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale did sell over 1 million copies, but this was still far below Sony’s expectations…
Translation – We’re not making anymore DLC cause Superbot made the game suck, and nobody who is in the FGC wants to play it cause it’s just like Smash.

Highly disappointed in this. 24 characters for the final roster is upsetting for those who were itching for more. I feel ripped off for pre-ordering this game. Not on a MvC3:FoTW level of pre-ordering and ripped, but pretty damn close.
So, can we see a Final/Ultra/Super/Mega,Giga/Complete/Expanded/GOTY version of the game including ALL the content instead of keep paying for it ?
