Nintendo announced today that their eShop will soon have an option similar to what has long been available on Xbox Live and was a recent addition to Playstation Network. The company’s Business Development Manager, Dan Adelman, confirmed to Joystiq that they will be adding the ability for the purchase of eShop games remotely on both your PC and smartphones later this year.
Adelman confirmed that you will be able to “log onto the site and set [purchases] up for download so that once they get home, it’ll be available for them and they can have that at their fingertips whenever they need it.”
Ever think about a game you want to download later but once you get home you can’t remember what it was? That will no longer be a problem. This allows for players to purchase games easily from their browser or mobile device with their choice of payment on the go.
