Square Enix revealed today that the seventh installment of the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE is currently scheduled to air on August 8, 2013.
As always, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida will be answering questions from fans and will finally reveal more details as to when beta phase 4 will start. The final beta phase is very likely to start the weekend following the scheduled air date of the “Letter from the Producer LIVE”, which is around August 9th. If you have any questions for Yoshida in regards to Final Fantasy XIV, you can submit them at the official forums.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available this August 27th for the PS3 and PC. If you decide to pre-order the game, you will be getting an early access code that allows you to play several days before the launch of the game.
I am so freakin glad to see this. I’m going thru ffxiv withdrawals lol. Used to play dcuo. But that game is so broken. I need my ffxiv fix NOW!!!!!!

Can someone please ask why it is taking so long to get to Phase 4? I’m too lazy to do it. I’m happy with the game so far.

What I would like to hear is that phase 4 is 7 days a week please. lol
I believe phase 4 is suppose to be 7 days a week….fingers cross they stick to that. All characters have been wiped, but those you create during phase 4 will roll over to live. My birthday is the 8th so that is a nice surprise :)
I have been going through hell to secure a PC CE edition. I had to order one from the UK. As a ridiculously over zealous FF fan I had to have the Yoshitaka Amano book. Sadly the code won’t work for me in the US so I will still have to get another copy to get the in game goodies. Wish I hadn’t of waited too pre order like I did.
Phase 4 date announced to be 17th, with players from p3 being able to access a day early :D

Ffxi phase 4 is supposed to be for one week only. Then you get to have more of those withdrawals.
