Dead Island Riptide Goes Gold

Dead Island Riptide Goes Gold

Dead Island Riptide, the follow-up to Techland’s 2011 “first-person zombie-slasher/action-RPG”, has officially gone gold. The highly-anticipated title is on track for its April 23rd (April 26th in the UK) release date, which is only a few short weeks away.

And, in case you weren’t already aware, this game won’t be debuting at the full retail price we’ve all become too used to paying lately. It will be knocking ten dollars right off the top, bringing the base price down to $49.99. So far, the game is shaping up to be an addicting, bloody adventure filled to the brim with the undead and plenty of their severed appendages. If you haven’t already pre-ordered and wish to obtain “an alternate character skin, pack of weapon mods and a digital strategy map” check out any participating retailer (Amazon/Best Buy/GameStop) to pre-order your copy before the game hits store shelves.

Check back with us closer to Dead Island Riptide’s release date for our review.
