DmC: Devil May Cry Receives First Review Score

DmC: Devil May Cry has received its first review from Swedish magazine LEVEL. It seems that there may be little to worry about, despite the abundance of controversy regarding Dante’s new look and a certain demon sex scene. The publication has given DmC: Devil May Cry a glowing review, rewarding it with a prestigious 9/10 score.

LEVEL praises the new Devil May Cry, stating that is surpasses its predecessors in nearly every way. Story, level variety and combo controls have all reached new heights, so it states. The modern twist on a more polished Devil May Cry experience seems to have paid off for Ninja Theory. With the game hitting PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 15th (January 25th for PC), we’ll be seeing many more reviews rolling out. Let’s hope they are all as positive as this one!

  1. Hmmm, well, I’m hopeful for this, but anyone who is allowed to publish a review score this far in advance is going to be required to supply a 9 or 10 of 10.
