No Buried Alive Match In WWE ’13

WWE ’13 has brought back some popular match types from previous games such as the “I Quit” and “Special Guest Referee”. Sadly, THQ has just confirmed that the “Buried Alive” match will not be in WWE ’13.

Cory Ledesma confirmed this on his official twitter account:

This is quite disappointing considering The Undertaker had many “Buried Alive” matches during the Attitude Era. The “Buried Alive” match was featured in some past WWE video games, but it eventually got phased in favor for other match types and features.

WWE ’13 is out from October 30th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

  1. The buried alive match not being in the game really isn’t that big of a let down. In previous installments I only played that match when I had to and never chose it on my own. I’m happy to see it gone because it’s not fun and in many ways a pain in the ass to win.
