During a panel at PAX, Hideo Kojima discussed more about the newly announced Metal Gear Solid movie.
He mentioned two famous Hollywood actors that he would personally like to see play the role of Snake in the movie. His two choices were Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Tom Hardy (Bane). He noted this was his personal preference for the role and not anything official.
Hopefully Hideo Kojima can influence making the decision about who should play the role of Snake. If Colombia chooses someone like Taylor Kitsch, we might see a lot of angry Metal Gear Solid fans…

I’m sure Kojima will keep his eye on the whole project, being such a perfectionist and movie fan. At least, that’s what I hope… I would really hate to see this movie turned into some Uwe Boll nonsense.
Also, Hugh Jackman would be pretty cool :D
