Deep Silver has confirmed that you will be able to import your Dead Island character into Dead Island: Riptide. The development team has made it known that players will want to take their characters from the previous game into the new one in order to continue their adventure and expand their skills. Dead Island: Riptide will also support expanded skill trees and weapon customization giving players more goodies to use to improve their characters,
Dead Island: Riptide is currently set to release some time next year on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Be sure to get as much as you can out of the first Dead Island so your character is as prepared as possible for Riptide.
