Activision and Beenox have announced that The Amazing Spider-Man game, which released yesterday for consoles, will be released on August 10 for PC players. The PC version will also be released on Steam and will include achievements. This may come as a disappointment to those who were really looking forward to jumping into Spidey’s shoes, especially with the new movie coming out next week.
The Amazing Spider-Man takes place after the events of the movie and features an original narrative crafted by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey, who worked on episodes of Spatacus: Gods of the Arena and Battlestar Galactica. For those of you who don’t feel like waiting until August, you can pick up your copy for consoles in-store now.
